<![CDATA[Atomic Monks, LLC — WordWars]]> 2008-07-05T18:40:11Z PunBB http://forums.atomicmonks.com/ <![CDATA[WordWars in Vista?]]> I had to bite the bullet and get a new PC.  It has Vista on it, much to my disappointment.  I tried running WordWars, and I got an error message saying that "This application has failed to start because DX8VB.DLL was not found.  Re-installing the application may fix this problem."  It didn't.  Anyone else run into this problem?  If so, how did you fix it?

WordWars is getting a few finishing touches, the website is being prepared, and the multiplayer server is ready. We've just sent the final version of WordWars to the publisher for a quick round of final testing.

The program no longer says "Beta Release" anywhere in it.

That's right, we have a final version! The game should "go gold" early next week (we're hoping for Monday). Download the trial version from GameThoughts, enjoy beating each other senseless, then buy your copy and make us rich.  big_smile
