Topic: Grinder?
How do I grind things? I'm trying to fix the goats. I have the recipe, I have the herbs, but I have no way to grind the herbs.

Yeah, they recently messed around with that quest so that your inventory wouldn't get loaded down with books. What used to happen is that Brother Morales would give you the book with the recipe and the grinder. But he no longer does either. I submitted it as a bug report, and Brother Erryn added a script that should give you the mortar and pestle as long as you are standing next to the bookshelf with the recipe in it when you read the book. Or you can just search in front of the bookshelf that has the recipe in it. Either one should work. Searching in front of the bookshelf worked for me.

The assumption is that you'd need to read the book...if you do read it, but can't get the tool now, let me know and I'll take care of you.
