what do you need to cook? i figured out you need the grinder for grinding and the needle for sewing
but what do you need to get the option to cook

Okay, I figured out I need Spoiler to to be able to cook, bought one from the shop this afternoon! Works perfectly well too! Now, I have the option to cook, COOL!

You can buy that in a shop.

You do need a recipe to cook. Most of them you can get from quests, or by paying a certain person in the game. You can also experiment with the various foods, if you are so inclined. All that will cost is one action.
