This one's not very doable...range handling is done by the item scripts, and a perk script can't readily modify an item script.
If range were a fixed item of a property, it would be more doable.

That would work if the perk script happened to run before the item's script, but that can't be guaranteed. All the scripts have to run under the assumption that the sequence will be random...that's the cost for flexibility in other areas.

yeah... but that's just Uber ones... perhaps then it could give a percentage to your defence abilties... or even a chance to catch the arrows fired at you... Monk styles...
