Topic: [Nifty code help [?]: Powers etc,

Ok, later on the the game we will want such cool things as:

-spells
-powers
-unique abilities

I propose each character has another invenotry, like their normal one. However, it has a twist. Items for it are "Spells" or "Powers". You drag them onto the paper doll. If its a spell, it counts as a ranged weapon etc. To change spell you simply chaged the stored one. Its not perfect, but its a start, and I figured it might give you an idea of how to code things.

The question we should be asking is:  "Will we be able to get these things later on in the game?"

If you're counting the spells, powers, and unique abilities as something from an item, then we can probably just use the item out of our inventory.  This would be similar to a couple of other things that are in the game right now, using a window in the upper right corner.

I think I've experienced this deja vu before...

i could go for some radioactive powers.

I am a Master of three martial arts including ninjitsu, which means I can wear the special boots to climb walls.
